About The Artist

I was born in Monterey California, and I still consider northern California my spiritual home (even though I live in the beautiful Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts). Color gets me out of bed in the morning. I love painting landscapes ‘en plein aire’; portraits; the hidden, inner landscape or ‘terra incognita’. Oh, and I keep painting chickens and farm animals. I have been painting since I was four, but more regularly since the mid ’90s.
